For 47 years, SaVoie de femme has positioned itself as a refuge and a point of reference, offering compassionate and non-judgmental listening to all women victims of violence, regardless of their profile, age, status, or background.
The association offers:
- A daytime welcome, where each woman is supported according to her own pace and needs, in collaboration with social partners. "We really move forward hand in hand," explains Elodie Lamarque.
- Refuge accommodations, to ensure temporary safety and work on the conditions for a sustainable and autonomous departure.
- Well-being workshops designed to rebuild self-esteem and restore confidence.
- Prevention and awareness actions, particularly among young people, to deconstruct stereotypes and prevent violent behaviors. The association is also involved in training professionals who may encounter these situations.
"It is imperative to maintain and strengthen this freedom of speech, as well as to improve the reception conditions, support for women, and the judicial processes," insists Elodie Lamarque. "Today, too few initiatives fully succeed. There is still much to be done to deconstruct the complex mechanisms and enable more effective and comprehensive support."
A caring and unconditional welcome is therefore the cornerstone of the reconstruction of women victims of violence. By providing them with a safe and listening space, SaVoie de femme helps to break isolation, restore dignity, and open the way to a free and autonomous life.
