“Our job is to buy buildings, renovate them, and then rent them out at the most affordable prices possible to actors engaged in ecological and social transition, as well as for housing. We also get involved a lot in third-place projects to restore the capacity to act in spaces for civic, ecological, and social action,” summarizes Alexandre Born.
To achieve this, Bellevilles will pull all possible strings to reach the lowest price. First, by collaborating with property owners, local authorities, and committed actors who will provide the best basic conditions. Then, by trying to be as frugal as possible in the rehabilitation of the buildings, without compromising on ecological or aesthetic dimensions.
“We will have access to sometimes more patient capital. We will be a bit more inventive and creative. We will create additional spaces. We will leverage all the keys of traditional real estate actors, but for a different purpose,” explains Alexandre Born.
