“More than 60% of French people want to start their own business; however, only 10% of them actually dare to do it”, this is one of the key arguments highlighted on the website of Livementor. This training organization was established in 2012 to encourage those who want to start a business to do so. The idea is to support passionate individuals with a project and help them turn it into a reality and transform it into a business.

“That’s the paradox; in most media, we reduce the entrepreneur to a few cliché images”, explains Alexandre Dana, co-founder of Livementor, who aims to support everyone who wants to start a business, fulfilling their desire for creation. Through the thousands of entrepreneurs he supports, he demonstrates that the figure of the entrepreneur is much more varied and diverse than that of “the 50-year-old white man, head of a small business with several hundred employees”.

“The first thing to do to help someone create their project is to listen to them (…) entrepreneurship is like making custom suits. You will use the same fabric for everyone, but ultimately, depending on the man or woman in front of you (...) you will create something 100% personalized. It’s a bit like when you help someone start their business.” says Alexandre Dana, convinced that entrepreneurship is one of the solutions for a more fulfilled society.
