Engaging in sports when our bodies allow it seems accessible at first glance. Signing up for a gym can be done in just a few clicks, getting there is often easy, just like going for a jog. But what happens when we are in a wheelchair, have a physical and/or mental disability, or are in cancer remission?
Hicham Ousseni asked himself this question and quickly realized that very little is adapted for these situations. He then decided to address the issue by creating Kunto.
This app is designed to accommodate all disabilities. Through a questionnaire, subscribers can present their specific needs and access tailored sessions.
The same goes for nutrition; Kunto offers customized meal plans that meet the specific needs of clients.
Kunto thus addresses a major societal challenge: inclusion.
In this interview, Hicham reminds us of the benefits of sports. Beyond the physical advantages and the pleasure it brings, sports contribute to improving mental health, enhancing autonomy, and preventing health complications.
Today, according to INSEE, half of people with disabilities do not engage in physical activity, and Kunto has an ambition: Sports for all!
