Bolsalea was founded in 2007 as an alternative to single-use plastic and to help small businesses access customized packaging without large orders. Over time, it expanded its offerings to include boxes and wrappers, maintaining a made-to-order production model to avoid excess inventory. “We want to help brands turn their packaging into a tool that generates positive impact,” explains Moya, who argues that every purchase supports a way of producing and employing.
Part of their production is carried out by people with disabilities or women facing challenges in job insertion, within a model that focuses on manufacturing in Spain, reducing waste, and providing sustainable solutions to small and medium-sized brands.
Today, the company seeks to balance social impact, environmental responsibility, and economic viability in a market that is very price-sensitive. For Moya, the challenge is to demonstrate that packaging is not just a cost, but part of a brand's identity and its commitment to society, promoting more conscious consumption that aligns with the values they wish to convey.
