The founders and the teams are well aware of their social and environmental responsibilities, they incorporate those priorities into an already significant workload… But then when it comes to getting the certification to prove their credentials, yet more work is required. And all too often the process stalls there, because the company can afford neither the time to work through the process themselves, nor the fees for a consultant to help them.
