The work of Humanity Diaspo revolves around several key areas:
- Fighting against economic insecurity by addressing issues that go well beyond wage gaps. The organization works to ensure access to essential products, whether they are hygiene, food, menstrual, or child-related.
- Engaging in active advocacy to change laws and mindsets. This includes campaigns for women's sexual and reproductive rights, access to education, and combating discrimination based on origin, religion, or sexual orientation.
The organization also stands against extreme injustices such as the death penalty, denouncing particularly discriminatory laws against women in certain countries, where they are at greater risk of being sentenced.
“Changing the law for women is our daily fight,” says Rana Hamra. “We never give up, even if it means pressuring ministries to be heard. Feminism improves women's lives, but never at the expense of men. It’s about building a society where men and women collaborate in respectful harmony. We are the voice of those who do not have one, bringing their demands to the streets and to institutions.”
