Nearly 50 years ago, Asprodalba began its journey in Almería, a province where it has become a benchmark in supporting people with intellectual disabilities to lead a full and dignified life.
“From a personalized support approach, we accompany each person on their path, in their life project, in all its dimensions: housing, employment, leisure, health, relationships, community participation…”, says De Haro Orozco.
The organization offers these individuals homes where they live like in small residences, and supports them with training and workshops that promote their labor and personal insertion. This creates an impact not only on the lives of these individuals and their families but also changes the social perception of disability.
