The Mouvement Impact France advocates for public policies, unites committed businesses, and develops tools to support their transition. The Movement has achieved several regulatory advancements, from the Pacte law to the anti-fast fashion law. It has also supported the European directive on corporate sustainability reporting (CSRD).
In 2021, the Movement launched the Impact Score, a free framework that allows companies to assess their level of commitment. Over 20,000 organizations have already adopted it. The Impact Score aims to simplify a landscape where hundreds of tools coexist. « We built it to be completely free and suitable for all organizations, even the smallest ones », explains Octave Kleynjans.
For Octave Kleynjans, « it is now necessary to bring forth an alternative business voice ». By highlighting the most committed companies, Mouvement Impact France hopes to inspire the entire economic fabric.
« We are able to shine a light on a number of companies that have strong commitments, proving by example that it is possible to reconcile social engagement, environmental responsibility, and economic performance », concludes Octave Kleynjans.
