For people with disabilities, entering the labor market means, of course, gaining the autonomy that comes with a salary, but it also means feeling that they can contribute to society while gaining confidence and self-esteem. This mission is facilitated by Sifu, which has been focusing on individuals with special difficulties for thirty years, such as mental illnesses or significant physical or sensory disabilities, where professional integration statistics are even more alarming.
”Over time, we saw that some people with disabilities face greater challenges in integrating into the labor market than others. As a leading entity, we had to fight to ensure that this group with more difficulties had their opportunities,” says Campabadal Blanco, president of the group, who has chosen to follow in the footsteps of his father, the founder of this venture.
In three decades, they have evolved from offering services solely to residential communities to working with large companies, currently employing over 8,000 people.
