The U4Impact initiative was born from the observation that many academic projects went unused, while a high youth unemployment rate persisted and companies needed to attract qualified young talent. Thanks to this platform, companies can define challenges that are manageable for students and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. In this way, students apply their knowledge to concrete problems and gain practical experience that multiplies their opportunities.
“The student can bring vision and ideas. In more than five years, we have impacted over 500 students and more than 200 companies, in addition to collaborating with 60 universities,” explains Travesí, convinced that the union between university and business is key to building a more innovative and sustainable future.
According to Travesí, the students they work with have a 300% higher employability rate six months after graduation. Organizations, for their part, benefit from talent evaluation and visibility in a network that already integrates 60 universities.
