“What led me to create Avocajust is the observation since 2015, since the beginning of my professional practice, that many people do not know their rights well enough, and they are afraid of the law and of lawyers,” explains Sabrina Gabteni.
For her, this lack of knowledge can have significant daily consequences. “People do not realize how signing a contract, having a working relationship with their employer, all of this has consequences in their lives,” she emphasizes.
So Avocajust offers a platform that allows users to find a lawyer based on their specific issue. The user describes their situation and then discovers professionals who introduce themselves through videos. “We really want to make lawyers more accessible, particularly by allowing people to get to know their personality beyond their expertise,” explains the founder.
The goal is also to provide more transparency regarding fees. “You don’t step into a lawyer’s office without knowing what you will have to pay upfront,” specifies Sabrina Gabteni. The platform thus allows users to book an initial consultation with displayed rates.
“The challenge today is to blend the human aspect with digital. And it works wonders when we do both to make law accessible to everyone, justice more accessible, all in service of a fairer world,” concludes Sabrina Gabteni.
