Plant on Demand emerged from a shared concern among its founding team: the impact of the food system goes far beyond what we eat. “It directly affects the lives of producers, the health of people, and the environment,” explains Valle. In contrast to an industrialized model reliant on agrochemicals, Plant on Demand aims to empower small farmers, ranchers, and agroecological artisans, which are key to rural development and biodiversity.
The company's response was to create a digital tool tailored to the real needs of small producers: a platform that allows them to manage sales, orders, invoicing, or subscriptions without wasting time on administrative tasks.
“The idea is that they can dedicate their energy to what truly matters: caring for the land, the animals, and their community. But without human support, digitalization generates resistance. That’s why it’s crucial for us to be on the other end of the phone,” adds Valle.
