For over 10 years, Lita has helped raise 220 million euros, which has financed more than 300 impact-driven businesses. There are 250,000 citizens registered on the platform, including around 45,000 regularly active investors.
“To finance the ecological and social transition, the financial resources to be tapped are significant. We need to enable citizens to participate in this,” emphasizes Louise Swistek.
The amount of savings held by the French is colossal, estimated at 6 trillion euros. At Lita, one can invest from 100 euros in employment, renewable energies, health, ecological industrial transition, culture, and independent media, all while taking equity stakes and becoming a shareholder in businesses, with financing options like renewable energy or real estate.
"We support citizens in financing these impact-driven businesses and participating in the transformation towards a fairer and more sustainable economy, which has been our mission for 12 years.”
"We advocate for the position that citizen shareholding is a sharing of economic value and democratic expression. Having hundreds of citizens in a company's capital is significant. It truly supports sectors that lack investment and have substantial needs, such as innovative and ecological industries.”
"Seeing solutions that were initially more anecdotal develop and become a more significant practice is very satisfying,” concludes Louise Swistek.
