Founded in 2018, the Fondation d’entreprise Solidarités Crédit Agricole Centre-est aims to support and promote local initiatives in the fields of education, culture, solidarity, entrepreneurship, and health.
Its actions extend across several departments in the Centre-est of France, contributing to the development and well-being of local communities.
“These can be socially innovative projects or initiatives that address unmet needs in a territory where public authorities have not yet mobilized,” explains Aurélie Bellemin.
One of the major focuses of the Foundation is support for education and culture. It funds innovative educational projects, initiatives aimed at improving access to culture for all, preserving natural heritage, actions for patient well-being, or medical research… All of these have a common thread of local solidarity and community building.
These actions strengthen the local educational fabric and offer young people opportunities for personal and professional development. “The budget aspect is also important since the foundation does not finance more than 30% of a project,” explains the Foundation's Public Relations Director, “I pay close attention to ensuring that budgets reflect projects that are indeed solid and sustainable.”
The impact of the foundation goes beyond mere assistance to associations: “It’s fundamentally a question of inclusion and living together. Many of the projects have a strong social character and a significant aspect of inclusion.”
