GoJob positions itself as an innovative temporary work platform that rethinks the world of temporary recruitment. Its main goal is to simplify and optimize the connection process between temporary workers and companies with staffing needs.
“It’s a company that was created with a fierce desire to have an impact on people’s lives and started from the observation that working is an essential way to give dignity to people.” proudly explains its creator, Pascal Lorne.
He presents his company as social and supportive, as in addition to providing jobs for all, it fights against hiring discrimination: “There are still many people who can suffer from discrimination in access to employment, (…) which can be based on gender, sexual orientation, origin, or social background.”
Temporary workers can create a detailed profile, indicate their availability, and quickly apply for assignments that match their skills. Thanks to “tech and data, we can analyze people's profiles and provide an extremely objective view of the match between supply and demand.”
Moreover, his creator is deeply convinced that permanent contracts “are a caste” that does not allow those who have one to enjoy the flexibility and freedom they would like... Especially since, to this day, in France, a permanent contract offers the possibility of having housing, a loan, and access to a whole range of rights that other contracts do not provide... and yet permanent contracts only represent 10% of hires in France!
