“We work with a systemic vision,” explains Stéphane Carchon-Veyrier. “That is to say, at Mots et maux de femmes, we tackle all aspects of the issue by working on awareness, advocacy through legislative proposals, physical and psychological reconstruction, and housing support. We also use various tools, such as a sensitization pack for companies, and an international aid platform.”
This work is carried out hand in hand with various associations to leverage the broadest possible skills and to raise awareness of existing resources, such as the connected button Mon Shérif or the app The Sorority.
Additionally, a network of 1,500 mentors has been established worldwide, experts in their fields, including lawyers, advocates, actresses, and business leaders, to provide their expertise, guide when necessary, and participate in advocacy.
"We benefit from the high patronage of the European Parliament, with registration in the European Union's transparency register, the high patronage of the Élysée and Matignon, and we are doubly labeled by UN Women France,” mentions Stéphane Carchon-Veyrier. “These recognitions reassure us that we are on the right track and that what we are doing makes sense.”
